Cruising the candidates sites this morning, this is the only video on any site that held my attention. I recongnize 6 people in this video... anyone who can pick out more? (Barack doesn't count) Good luck.
READING, MA - In what looks to be the first in a series of clashes, Nathan D. Smith was knocked out in the first round of a sparring match with the Graduate Record Exam. Nate approached the practice test warily, but was not ready for the one two punch of "Phlegmatic" and "Equivocate" that the test opened up with. After getting back to his feet in a 6 count, the stunned amateur pugilist was able to rally during the first several quantitative problems. But 3 questions in a row involving the angles of a triangle put him down on the mat for good. When asked about his rough performance, the Haymaker of High Street had this to say: "Japan killed my English." When asked for retort, the GRE said, "It seems to me that whenever there's a knockout in a sparring session, that ain't good."
In Reading. And the rest of the fam is out traveling the world, or being very very quiet. Either way I have the next set of videos from the Cory and Nate travel extravaganza. Also I'm working on getting a job. So far, nothing. I hope I have developments to report. Especially those involving clinical work that pays well. But until then, watch this.
Nate and Cory in Melbourne (14) Narrations on a Melbourne bridge. Not sure how much of what I say is actually accurate. Bonus points if you can figure out what words I mouth at the end of the vid.
Here in Boston and cold as all get out. How do people live like this? I'm going back to Cairns, forget about my future plans. But while I wait to do that here are a few more videos from Cory and my trip to Australia.
Nate and Cory Tour Macquarie Point / Confused Cohosts This is take 5 of 8. We kept getting cut off at 30 seconds by the camera, then it was too windy, then people were talking loudly in the background... This is the best, you'll have to trust me. Though you can here our shock/frustration at the end of the video.
Nate and Cory set up a Tent in Darkness A poorly lit video of Cory working hard as I narrate. By the end of the trip we were getting the tent up in about 7 minutes. Hard to believe.
